Welcome to our Power of One Senior Adult Conference website! My staff and I are committed to providing the best conference for senior adults that we can possibly put together. It is our desire that the conference be evangelistic in its message, enlightening in its content, inspiring growth in its application, and delightful in its presentation.

Those who have helped us to accomplish these goals have included Dr. Tony Evans, Art Linkletter, and Larnelle Harris. We look forward to working with Pat Boone, Babbie Mason and others as we strive to bring you a great conference. SDEA launched The Power of One Senior Adult Conference on November 9, 2006 with a luncheon at The Club in Birmingham, AL. James Spann served as our emcee, Squire Parsons led attendees in worship, Art Linkletter gave an inspiring and humorous speech, and our own Scott Dawson presented the Gospel. When he gave an invitation, 70 senior adults out of the 600 in attendance said they accepted Christ for the first time or the first time that they meant it.

We invited senior adults from all over the Southeast to join us at our first Power of One Senior Adult Conference in Sevierville, TN on September 25-28, 2007 at the new Sevierville Events Center. There, we had the distinct opportunity of witnessing 21 senior adults accept Christ for the first time. We believe that God would have all peoples come to a saving knowledge of Christ, and that includes senior adults. Those changed lives are the reason that we unashamedly present the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere we go.
